As part of the QEII New Generation Project, construction is now underway in our facilities. Please allow extra time to arrive at your appointment. You also may experience higher than normal noise levels or other construction disruptions during your visit.  .

Below is a list of QEII facilities. NSHA will be updating this page with information as it becomes available.

Centre for Clinical Research

Charles V. Keating Emergency and Trauma Centre

Dickson Building

Construction has begun on the fifth floor of the Dickson Building to create a new chemotherapy preparation lab. Please allow for extra time to arrive at your appointment.

Halifax Infirmary

As part of the QEII New Generation Project, construction is now underway in the diagnostic imaging (x-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT-scan) department of the Halifax Infirmary. This department is located on the third floor. Construction begins on the fifth floor (surgical services) in February.
 
These renovations will add two imaging rooms (interventional radiology suites) to the third floor to make way for construction the first hybrid operating room in Atlantic Canada on the fifth floor.
